Every year, the village of Dromahair in Leitrim is transformed into a cultural whirlwind of music, workshops, art, poetry and food, spearheaded by a colourful parade through Main Street. Through these events we celebrate the historical, mythical and cultural elements of Dromahair, and promote our biodiversity and rich heritage.
The village is a vibrant and diverse community, mixed with new residents from far and wide, as well as locals who have lived here all their lives. It seems like every other inhabitant is an artist, writer or musician, and we all have a story to tell! This makes for a perfect blend of minds to create a day filled with fun, spectacle and laughter.
Best of all, the whole day is completely free! So come and join us on June 29th as we take to the streets, and discover why we're putting Dromahair on the map.
